Why Big Cass Was Released From His WWE Contract

On Sunday, Big Cass faced Daniel Bryan at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view, and on Monday WWE released a statement announcing that Big Cass had been released from his WWE contract.

Sports Illustrated is reporting that one of the reasons Big Cass was released had to do with his personal conduct.

Cass was reportedly drinking through the majority of WWE’s recent European tour, and had “attitude issues” when he was drunk. It’s being said that the office was down on Big Cass for being drunk in public.

Pro Wrestling Sheet also notes that Cass rubbed people the wrong way during an incident that occurred on a WWE bus that was transporting talent.

The bathroom door lock on the bus was apparently broken, but Cass didn’t realize it and thought he was being pranked when he got locked inside. Cass then reportedly got angry after being locked inside for too long and broke the door down, which meant that other people who used the bathroom afterward had to do so with no door.
