Alexa Bliss has been one of the top stars in the women’s division ever since she was called up to the main roster a few years ago, and on Sunday she’ll have her chance to win championship gold once again.
However, during Raw this week Michael Cole confirmed that Alexa Bliss would not be appearing on the show.
Wrestling Inc. is reporting that Alexa Bliss missed Raw this week because she’s been ill recently, but she is still expected to challenge Bayley for the SmackDown Women’s Title at Extreme Rules on Sunday.
Alexa Bliss and Braun Strowman were originally supposed to appear at a Connor’s Cure fundraiser in Wayne, New Jersey on Monday but they were replaced by Baron Corbin and Nikki Cross.
Bliss missed the scheduled appearance due to her illness. Braun Strowman missed the appearance because he’s still selling injuries from when he speared Bobby Lashley through the stage last week.
