When the cruiserweight division was resurrected a few years ago, the cruiserweights regularly appeared on Monday Night Raw.
But since then they’ve mainly been appearing on their own show, 205 Live, until recently that is.
Drake Maverick has been appearing on Raw as the manager of the Authors of Pain, and now Lio Rush has been paired up with Bobby Lashley.
Fightful is reporting that 205 Live stars have been appearing on Raw because there’s been a push backstage to implement more managers to revive floundering acts.
The 205 Live stars who are being used have been selected because they’re great talkers, and it’s being said that this could be a way to ease those in charge into the idea of featuring managers more prominently.
This change is also being looked at as a way to maximize return on investment for the 205 Live brand.
