205 Live has been going through growing pains ever since the show was introduced, and a few months ago the show was moved to Wednesday nights in order to make room for the Mixed Match Challenge to air after SmackDown Live.
But recently the show was moved back to Tuesdays, and it’s once again airing live after SmackDown.
According to PWInsider, Vince McMahon was the one who made the decision to move the show back to Tuesday nights, as he wants the WWE Network to have live programming.
It was noted that in the long term moving back to its original slot might not be the best move for the brand, because the matches were getting a much better reaction when they were taped before SmackDown, as opposed to airing live after SmackDown.
