Over the last few years WWE has signed a number of notable names and it seems that there are several stars who are attempting to make it to the next level, and one of them has caught the attention of the right people.
Bodyslam is reporting that Je’Von Evans has made quite the impression with WWE brass since he signed with the company. According to the report multiple WWE executives see Evans as not only the present, but the future of the company.
Je’Von Evans has made appearances on NXT, SmackDown, TNA Wrestling, and he’s set to appear on Raw and AAA this week. It’s being said that the amount of exposure he’s been given speaks volumes regarding the level of confidence that WWE has in him as the ultimate babyface.
During this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, Je’Von Evans will be competing in a high profile match at Madison Square Garden as he’s set to face off against Gunther in The Last Time Is Now Tournament.
Recently Je’Von Evans spoke to Yahoo about entering The Last Time Is Now Tournament and he said, “I’ve always been a fan of Cena, especially me being younger. He always played to the younger fans. I’m so blessed to be in this position and have this opportunity. There’s a picture of my first WWE event — I’m wearing John Cena’s headband and wrist joints. This is insane.”
“I know that the process to get into [Cena’s final match] is going to be trouble, for sure. It’s going to be mountains, it’s going to be speed bumps, but I’m willing to get there. Whatever I need to do, whatever I’ve got to do, whatever helps me get to that match, to have that match with Cena, I’m ready to take all that on.”
Stay tuned for updates.
