WWE’s Granddaddy of Them All, WrestleMania’s kickoff wouldn’t be complete without someone singing “America The Beautiful.” This year from the Camping World Stadium on April 2nd, none other that Tinashe is being granted the honor of doing just that.
If you don’t know her from the 24-year-old Tinashe’s music from of her two major record releases, you might recognize her from the two seasons she played Jake’s girlfriend on “Two And A Half Men.”
Tinashe made her acting debut way back in 1997 when her young voice was featured on the animated children’s show “Franklin.” You remember that cartoon about the turtle? Betcha never thought you’d hear it referenced on a professional wrestling news website, eh? Well, you just did.
Since then she’s lent her voice to characters on “Rocket Power” and “Avatar: The Last Airbender” before transitioning herself into music, and now she’s starting off WrestleMania 33.
If the mid-season finale of “Total Divas” left you wanting more, then you’re not alone. We can’t wait to see what will happen during the WWE brand split with Paige and Alberto’s relationship (even though we already know, because it was filmed so long ago). But, regardless this series shows a glimpse into the personal lives of so many superstars that we just can’t get enough of like Handsome Rusev and Lana, Paige and Alberto, not to mention Naomi and Jimmy Uso.
Besides, when’s the last time you heard anything new about Paige? Her name hasn’t come across the internet at all lately, right? Well, the divas are coming back, and they’re just in time for that WrestleMania hangover we’ll all be experiencing.
