Brock Lesnar’s Shooting Star Press at WrestleMania 19 is one of the most infamous moments in WrestleMania history. Brock is more than capable of doing the move and he had done it successfully in the past. But on the grandest stage of them all he unfortunately botched the high risk maneuver.
On Steve Austin’s podcast this week Brock revealed that it wasn’t his idea to use the move in the match and that he was talked into it. However Brock Lesnar didn’t reveal who it was that talked him into using the move. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it was John Laurinaitis who talked Brock into using the Shooting Star Press.
