The coronavirus pandemic hit the wrestling world pretty hard, but WWE recently announced that fans will be returning when the company hits the road in July.
A few years ago WWE signed a deal with Saudi Arabia which has seen the company produce two yearly pay-per-view events, but WWE has yet to travel to Saudi Arabia this year.
PWInsider is reporting that the expectation is that WWE will be returning to Saudi Arabia in the fall. An official date has not been locked in yet, but the company is expected to run at least one event in Saudi Arabia before the end of the year.
The last WWE event to take place from Saudi Arabia was Super Showdown which was held at the Mohammed Abdu Arena in Riyadh in February of 2020. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
