Austin Aries and WWE delivered some good news last week when it was announced that Aries had signed a deal to work in NXT. Aries made a quick appearance during the NXT tapings last Friday, but he didn’t wrestle a match. Coming out of last night’s NXT tapings, it looks like we will see the in-ring debut of Austin Aries on the March 30th episode of NXT. Aries wrestled a match against Riddick Moss during the tapings.
On a related note, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that Aries had been negotiating with WWE ever since his TNA contract expired in June of 2015.
