Last year at the Royal Rumble, Ronda Rousey made it clear that she wanted to compete on the Grandest Stage of Them All.
The Baddest Woman on the Planet officially made her in-ring debut at WrestleMania 34 when she teamed with Kurt Angle to defeat Stephanie McMahon & Triple H, and she’s been a regular on WWE programming ever since.
However, it seems that Ronda could be finishing up with WWE sooner than later.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that there is a very good chance Ronda Rousey will be finishing up with WWE at WrestleMania 35.
If that is the case then it’s expected that she would likely put over Becky Lynch at WrestleMania more than Charlotte Flair, because that’s what the fans would want.
The talk internally this week was that Ronda is finishing up at Mania, and even though there’s not necessarily a hard firm last day for Rousey, the working idea is that she’ll be done after the Show of Shows.
The possibility of Rousey working the next PPV after Mania has also been discussed.
It’s expected that Ronda Rousey will remain affiliated with WWE after her departure, and it’s possible that she could return from time to time like John Cena or The Undertaker.
