This week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw featured two big returns, and before it was all said and done, Batista sent a message to Triple H by attacking Ric Flair.
A Batista vs. Triple H match was first teased during the Evolution reunion at SmackDown 1000 last year, but the status of the match was put in doubt when Triple H suffered an injury during the main event of Crown Jewel.
However, Triple H confirmed in January that he started training again.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that plans for Batista vs. Triple H at WrestleMania 35 were finalized this past week.
It’s being said that Batista has no interest in working anywhere but WWE, and in addition to Triple H, The Undertaker was also reportedly discussed as a possible opponent for The Animal.
