Luke Harper returned to action earlier this year, but he’s spent the last several months sitting on the sidelines because WWE hasn’t been using him.
However, Harper recently returned at Clash of Champions and he has once again aligned himself with Erick Rowan.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Harper didn’t know about his WWE return until two days before it happened.
Luke Harper being at the WWE Performance Center a few weeks ago didn’t have to do with his return, although it did indirectly impact plans for his return.
The former Intercontinental Champion reportedly suffered a neck injury while he was out of action, but checked out ok.
The injury is part of the reason why he was smaller when he returned.
