Charlotte Flair is one of the top stars in the women’s division on SmackDown Live, and she constantly impresses fans with her performances inside the ring. But it was recently reported that Charlotte will be missing some time as she’s set to undergo surgery to repair a ruptured breast implant.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that Charlotte’s impact actually ruptured before WrestleMania, but she didn’t get the surgery because she didn’t want to miss her title match against Asuka on the Grandest Stage of Them All.
WWE then wanted her to work the title match against Carmella at Backlash, and she wanted to work the European tour because it brings in good money, but Charlotte wants to get the surgery taken care of so that she doesn’t miss SummerSlam.
On the most recent episode of SmackDown Live, Charlotte qualified for the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match which is set to take place on June 18th, so it’s possible that WWE will do some sort of angle to write her out of the match.
