Raw was loaded this week as the show featured the return of AJ Lee, Dolph Ziggler, Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns. After Brock Lesnar was confirmed for The Vision’s WarGames team Roman Reigns returned to help out CM Punk’s team, and the two teams brawled as Monday Night Raw came to an end.
After the dust settled, CM Punk and Roman Reigns came face to face in the middle of the ring. WWE released footage of CM Punk and Roman Reigns getting into an intense exchange after Raw went off the air, and the footage makes it clear that there is a lack of trust between the two stars.
“If you’re gonna do this, and try to stab me in the back, then you’re gonna have an enemy,” CM Punk said.
Roman Reigns responded with, “Just remember this, I don’t stab in the back. I don’t have to. I’ll look you in your eyes.”
CM Punk and Roman Reigns formed an uneasy alliance last year at Survivor Series when Punk teamed up with The OG Bloodline to take on The New Bloodline in a WarGames match. Luckily they were victorious last year, but there’s clearly some tension between Punk and The Tribal Chief heading into WarGames.
