Daniel Bryan announced this week that he has officially been cleared to return to in-ring competition. It’s been a long hard road for Bryan, but he never gave up on his dream of returning, and now it’s going to happen.
Bryan’s official in-ring return has yet to be announced, but it’s expected that he’ll be teaming up with Shane McMahon to face Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn at WrestleMania 34 in a few weeks.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that due to the agreement between Bryan and WWE, the former WWE Champion will undergo Impact testing and a neuropsychological evaluation by WWE’s doctors after every match until WWE feels comfortable.
Even though Bryan has been cleared to return to the ring, it’s good to know that WWE officials are still making his health the number one priority.
Fans know that Daniel Bryan wrestled a very intense style before he was forced to retire from in-ring competition, but over the last few years he’s said that he’s spent time developing a different style, so it will be interesting to see exactly how that plays out when he’s active again.
