It seems that there are quite a few fans out there who feel that SmackDown is better than Raw at the moment. Other fans feel that the topic is up for debate, but there’s no denying that the stars of SmackDown had an awesome showing this week, and their hard work seems to have paid off in terms of viewership.
This week’s episode of SmackDown was a big one, as it featured the return of John Cena and three title matches. According to ShowBuzzDaily.com, SmackDown Live drew 2.885 million viewers, and viewership was up from the 2.637 million viewers who watched last week’s episode.
SmackDown Live actually averaged more viewers than Raw this week, as Raw averaged 2.855 million viewers on Monday night.
Next week the red brand and the blue brand will have the chance to outdo each other once again. Raw is currently advertising the return of Goldberg for next week’s show, and SmackDown Live is advertising an Intercontinental Championship match between The Miz and Dolph Ziggler.
