WWE’s developmental brand lost a few top names recently after WrestleMania 33. Shinsuke Nakamura, Tye Dillinger, and The Revival all found their way up to the main roster. But one name that’s making his journey a little bit more interesting is referee Eddie Orengo.

The NXT referee has been working for the WWE main roster recently and some have speculated he’s going to be featured primarily on WWE’s main roster programming in no time. Eddie’s Twitter says he’s “ready to begin a new journey” which also might signify that he’s going to be joining the Raw or SmackDown ranks full time very soon.
Orengo recently posted a really great picture himself with of all the recently called-up superstars thanking everyone who has helped them along the way.
At the recent NXT house show in Atlanta, Tye Dillinger performed one of his last cartwheels in a NXT ring. But, after the match, while he was celebrating his time in WWE’s developmental brand The Perfect 10 coaxed Eddie Orengo into doing a cartwheel of his own.
Eddie Orengo tried to act like he didn’t want to do it, but we’re sure he couldn’t wait to pull off a cartwheel. After he completed his gymnastic move Orengo saluted the crowd with Tye Dillinger’s classic “10” movements.
We very well might be seeing Eddie Orengo on the main roster on a weekly basis soon. His name might be right up there with the top referees in the company. Eddie’s worked hard to be where he is and he’s had a ton of fun along the way. The Atlanta crowd was very into this moment and cheered for both men with full force. It was a very cool moment captured on camera.
Needless to say, we’re so happy for everyone that was called up during this round of post-WrestleMania roster moves.
