Watch NXT Match Stopped Due To Head Injury

Asuka is a beast. She’s broken Goldberg’s undefeated streak that most thought was untouchable, she’s running roughshod over the entire NXT women’s division including taking out Ember Moon before NXT Takeover: Chicago. Now it looks like her violent sights were set on Ruby Riot at the Download Festival.

NXT is currently on a tour of the United Kingdom and fans from all over are coming out to see what the future WWE superstars can do. If they came out to the Download Festival expecting to see some violence then they more than got their money’s worth.

Ruby Riot faced Asuka at the show and it didn’t end well for the former Heidi Lovelace. After their match, Riot had to be escorted from the ring with a towel on her head. It wouldn’t have been such a big deal if the towel weren’t soaked in her blood.

It looks like meeting Asuka in a tent at a music festival can result in your head turning into a sea of crimson red. That is good to know so we’re going to stay away from all tents at music festivals just to be on the safe side from now on.

It looks like Ruby Riot was okay, but it is never a good thing to have that much blood coming out of any hole in your head. Especially if that hole was created by someone like Asuka.

But Ruby Riot is one tough cookie. She will carry on and this will probably only give her more of a reason to want to go even harder at Asuka. You can tell the crowd was highly entertained by the bloodbath though, and in the end isn’t that all that matters? Well, it is knowing that Ruby Riot is going to be okay.

As Ruby was led to the back by WWE officials she was given a well-deserved ovation from the adoring fans. We’re just glad she’s okay because we know we wouldn’t be acting so chill if we just had a hole kicked in our head by someone like The Empress Of Tomorrow.
