This week’s episode of Raw featured the fallout from the WWE Payback pay-per-view and more. After defeating Samoa Joe at Payback, Seth Rollins felt that he needed a new challenge, so he made his way down to the ring to announce that he wants to challenge Brock Lesnar for the Universal Title.
Unfortunately for Seth, both The Miz and Finn Balor also want to challenge Brock Lesnar for the title, so they interrupted. Current Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose interrupted as well, and he announced that since Brock Lesnar isn’t around, the IC Title is the top belt on Raw, so the stars should be arguing over his title.
A triple threat match was later booked, and The Miz, Seth Rollins and Finn Balor all battled for the right to challenge Dean Ambrose. The Miz won the main event of Raw, but the fun didn’t stop after the show went off the air.
Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Finn Balor all tried to get The Miz to do his catchphrase after the cameras stopped rolling, and eventually he agreed. Miz got on the mic and just before he finished his catchphrase, Seth Rollins grabbed him from behind and hit him with his new finisher.
Ambrose followed up with Dirty Deeds, then Balor went to the top rope for a crotch chop before he hit Miz with the Coup De Grace to send the crowd home happy. You can check out a video clip below.
