Glenn Jacobs aka Kane announced earlier today that he was officially running for Mayor of Knox County, Tenessee. He’s already hit the ground running with his first official campaign video. This video is both trippy and motivational.

Kane has big plans if he’s elected. In the video, he discusses the fact that he met his wife in Tenessee 22-years-ago in Tenessee and he considers Knox County Tenessee the best place to live, work, and raise a family. To see the Big Red Machine in such a respectable manner might be kind of a shock to some, but we’ve seen him in a suit before as Director Of Operations. But only now he’s not Corporate Kane, he’s politician Glenn Jacobs.

Jacobs is promising to not only provide quality schools but also make the government transparent. It’s hard to speak negatively about either of those things. He looks like he really means business and he will fight to keep government small.

He quotes Ronald Reagan in his video and promises to get the job done. So, if you’re in his voting district, consider casting your vote for Glenn Jacobs. He plans on “Lighting The Way For Our Future,” and it’s hard to find much fault in the statements he’s made so far.
