John Cena made an appearance on “Maya & Marty” on NBC last night and he got to impersonate one of his childhood heroes. Cena appeared in a skit which featured auditions for FX’s “The People V. Hulk Hogan” which is supposed to be a parody of the show “The People V. OJ Simpson.” Hulk Hogan’s legal troubles have of course been a hot topic over the past year or so and John Cena wanted to step in and play the role of Hogan in the show.
At first glance Cena appears to be the perfect choice. He’s ripped like Hogan was in his prime and he even sounds a lot like Hogan when he busts out the Hogan voice. But unfortunately for John Cena he’s forced to go up against some stiff competition when David Schwimmer shows up and tries to claim the role of Hulk Hogan for himself. You can see how it all goes down in the video clip below.
