The annual Hell in a Cell pay-per-view aired live on the WWE Network on Sunday night and Seth Rollins defended his Universal Championship against The Fiend in the main event.
The match ended in controversy when Seth Rollins stacked a chair, a ladder an a tool box on The Fiend’s head then hit the pile with a sledgehammer. The referee tried to talk Seth out of using the hammer, but when he did the ref called for the bell.
After the match ended in a DQ, the fans booed and chanted for AEW.
The Fiend continued to attack Seth Rollins after the match, and fans have been posting videos online showing that the boos and AEW chants continued when the show came to a close.
