Elias Samson lost a Loser Leaves NXT match on tonight’s NXT program. This means he’s out of NXT for good. NXT fans have gotten used to The Drifter and his acoustic handiwork, but now the only thing they will have left of him is maybe a greatest hits album. We’re still waiting for that too.
But after his match with Kassius Ohno, Elias Samson didn’t leave without a fight. Much in the same way Bo Dallas was escorted out of NXT year ago, The Drifter needed some encouragement from security as well. Needless to say, he left kicking and screaming just like Dallas did.
Some would assume this means Samson is destined for a main roster jump soon. It would match up timing-wise as the Raw and SmackDown after WrestleMania are destined to be shows where fans can expect to see some new faces.
Even though this was probably the last NXT will be seeing of Elias Samson. He will be missed in a minor sense. But who knows what kind of song he might be singing on a Monday or Tuesday night very soon.
If Elias Samson plans on singing any songs wherever he goes next, he’s going to have to acquire a new guitar. Kassius Ohno made quick work of Samson’s acoustic friend after their encounter.
The fact that Elias Samson was ejected from NXT isn’t anything new to fans who keep up with spoilers. In fact, that goes right in line with the second part of this article.
Bubba Ray Dudley recently spoke up against the art of spoilers. It got very interesting when Wrestling Observer Newsletter writer Dave Meltzer put in his two cents. Some would consider Meltzer a spoiler aficionado of sorts.
Bubba’s reply was rather classic as he gave a review of Meltzer’s response. We give Bubba Ray’s reply 4 1/2 stars at least.
