CM Punk is still on TV folks, and you can catch him this season on MTV’s “The Challenge.” This season’s theme is “champs vs. pros,” and CM Punk is one of the professional athletes featured on the show.
Punk competed in one of the challenges that saw him get covered in ketchup and mustard, but after Punk lost the challenge that’s when the real excitement began.
After the challenge was over, Punk joked that he felt like Bill Murray in “Ghostbusters” and he said that, “I fought, I lost, I live to fight another day.” Reality star Johnny Bananas took exception to the comment and responded with, “You’re the first guy in history to go and lose, and you’re happy about it. I wouldn’t brag about it.”
Punk then asked Bananas what he does for a living, and Bananas took a shot at Punk when he said, “I don’t go to the UFC and get my ass whooped, that’s what I don’t do.”
CM Punk fired back, “I was either gonna win gloriously, or die a glorious death, and that’s something somebody like you is never gonna understand. Because they wouldn’t let you in because nobody would pay a dime to see your ass. That’s why.”
That’s when things started to get heated, and CM Punk and got in Johnny’s face then called him an “ignorant motherf***er,” before Bananas told Punk that he couldn’t make it in wrestling or MMA.
It was an unpleasant exchange, but entertaining nonetheless and you can check it out below.
