Here’s some breaking news: John Cena proposed to Nikki Bella after their mixed tag match against Miz and Maryse at WrestleMania 33. She said yes and the diamond ring was huge. However, Nikki’s sister wasn’t there to see the proposal first hand because she’s been at home about ready to pop from pregnancy. Both Bella Twins are celebrating life transitions as Nikki is going to soon become Mrs. Cena and Brie will soon be baby Birdy Joe’s momma.
The Bella Twins’ official YouTube channel captured the moment when Brie saw her sister’s ring for the first time. Her reaction was: “Dang.”
One side of the insane engagement ring represents John, the other represents Nikki. It also represents the when they became one after four-and-a-half years. It’s a very touching statement to make that’s also very pricey. But John Cena could afford it.
While we’re on the subject, Jim Ross said on a recent episode of The Ross Report that there were people backstage asking each other if John Cena could deduct the ring as a business expense since he proposed at work during Mania. It’s a very interesting thing to ponder. I’m no tax agent, but it sounds like a legit write-off.
In what was a very Nikki Bella thing to say, she said she was going to eat a ton of sodium for the rest of her life so her ring never falls off. That sounds totally legit too.
Congratulations again to John and Nikki. May they live long and prosper. But if they ever hit hard times, it’s okay because they can always buy a home by pawning that massive ring. It’s 4 1/2 carats because they’ve been together 4 1/2 years. As Nikki told In Touch Weekly, when John pulled her close at Mania, he told her the meaning of the ring. Needless to say, it will do just fine.
