Could Viral Meningitis Concerns Alter Plans For WWE TLC?

Professional wrestling is usually a grand wonderland where you can leave reality at the door and forget the line of disbelief. But it turns out there might be something very serious going on in the WWE locker room right now as a viral meningitis scare could be changing things.

“It sounds like Bray Wyatt has some sort of infectious disease — what it is I don’t know,” Dave Meltzer said on Wrestling Observer Live. When asked by Bryan Alvarez if Meltzer meant Bo Dallas he replied, “both, The story that’s going around… I haven’t heard from WWE, I have asked yeah and I don’t know what that means for Sunday (at TLC), yeah I don’t really know.”

Taking that information into account there very well might be a situation where Finn Balor comes out in his new demon get up that’s orange for the Halloween season and he’ll just wait there in the ring looking like an angry pumpkin.

Balor might get on the microphone and cut a promo at Wyatt and The Eater Of Worlds very well could come on the big screen dressed like Sister Abigail and laugh like a manic woman with a modulated voice for a minute and then it’s on to the next match.

Who knows what’s really going on, but JoJo’s mother recently commented on the situation to let everyone know she’s not sick.

This meningitis rumor is a very nasty idea indeed. Meningitis is a contagious disease which consists of an inflammation of the protective membranes covering the brain and spinal cord. There are lots of headaches, neck stiffness, pain all over — it’s no fun and we really wish anyone the best of luck if they’re dealing with meningitis.

I don’t want to scare anyone but people can die of meningitis if not properly and quickly treated. Let’s hope Bray and Bo are getting the medical care they need if that is what’s really going on. At this point with no official announcement, it’s impossible to really know what’s going on. But reports suggest something serious could be happening and it might end up forcing WWE to change things.
