Everyone’s talking about Chris Jericho at the moment, and that’s because he challenged Kenny Omega to a huge dream match over the weekend. Jericho called Kenny out, and Omega has answered the challenge. The two stars will now be facing off at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 12 on January 4.

His match with Kenny Omega will be the first match Jericho has wrestled outside of WWE since 1999. The first ever Undisputed Champion recently revealed that he had been in talks with NJPW for the last couple of months, and the match was a huge surprise to the fans when it was announced.
In any case, it doesn’t seem like there’s any bad blood between Chris Jericho and Vince McMahon regarding the match at the Tokyo Dome.
Today Chris Jericho is celebrating his 47th birthday, and Vince McMahon took to Twitter to send him a happy birthday message.
Throughout the course of his career Jericho has taken time away from WWE several times to focus on other things, and he’s returned at different points for new and interesting runs with the company.
