People all around the world have been reacting to the death of George Floyd and protesting, and people from all throughout the wrestling community have been taking to Twitter to make their voices heard.
PWInsider is reporting that on Wednesday afternoon Vince McMahon sent an email to everyone in WWE addressing the importance of diversity, and WWE’s continued support of it.
Vince McMahon also announced that the following is now available for people who work for WWE:
– 24/7 mental health counseling to anyone who feels they need assistance.
– A specific email address for anyone who works for the company to directly address diversity concerns and bring them to the company’s attention.
It’s also being reported that Vince McMahon provided links to a number of different diversity training courses that are free to WWE employees.
As we previously reported, WWE recently issued the following statement:
“WWE supports an inclusive society and condemns racial injustice. We stand beside our Black performers, employees and fans around the world, and encourage everyone to use their voice to speak out against racism. We offer our sincere condolences to the family of George Floyd and the families of countless others who have lost their lives due to senseless violence.”
