WrestleMania is quickly approaching, and while it seems obvious that Shane McMahon won’t be on the card at this point there are currently rumors circulating claiming that his father could step in the ring.
POST Wrestling is reporting that Vince McMahon is set to kick off a program with WWE announcer Pat McAfee with the feud leading the WrestleMania 38. WWE recently announced that Vince McMahon will be a guest on the Pat McAfee Show on Thursday, and multiple sources have confirmed that something involving McMahon and McAfee is set for the show.
While speaking with a source who has knowledge of the situation POST Wrestling was told that the McAfee/McMahon angle will “most likely” be billed as an official match on the WrestleMania card.
Vince McMahon last competed at WrestleMania when he faced Bret Hart at WrestleMania 26, and he last stepped into the ring when he fought CM Punk on Raw in October of 2012. Stay tuned for updates.
