There are quite a few wrestlers on the Monday Night Raw roster, and it seems that WWE is currently trying to build new stars.
Over the last few months Aleister Black has been getting a decent amount of TV time, and it’s no big secret that Paul Heyman was high on Black. However, it was recently reported that Vince McMahon isn’t quite as high on Aleister Black, but it looks like that may not be the case.
Alex McCarthy of talkSPORT is reporting that Vince McMahon is a huge fan of Black as a performer, but he’s worried about his gimmick.
“Vince is a huge fan of the performer – and of Tommy. Size. Agility. Skill. But he is worried the character is a gimmick and will limit him,” a source claimed.
The source also claimed that any idea Vince McMahon is giving up on Aleister Black is “absolute nonsense.”
It’s also being reported that Black “drank the Heyman kool-aid” and was disappointed when Heyman left his position on Raw.
