Over the last few months fans have seen quite a few NXT stars appear on Raw, and now it looks like one up and coming talent is in line for a big push.
PWInsider is reporting that NXT star Brendan Vink is in line for a big push. Vink appeared on Raw this week along with his partner Shane Thorne, and they picked up a win over Ricochet and Cedric Alexander when Vink pinned Ricochet.
WWE officials have reportedly considered him to be a developmental project for a long time and his push with WWE partner EVOLVE was used to build him up, and he was originally set for a bigger push with EVOLVE.
Brendan Vink’s appearances on the main roster are the beginning of a long-term push. Vink’s push is being compared to when Vince McMahon saw Braun Strowman as a long-term project that he wanted to build for the future during his time with The Wyatt Family.
It’s worth noting that both Brendan Vink and Shane Thorne are still listed as NXT stars.
