In order to make it in WWE, you need to impress Vince McMahon, and that’s exactly what one SmackDown Live star has done.
Fightful is reporting that Andrade “Cien” Almas impressed McMahon while working with AJ Styles, and his work with Styles directly led to him working with Daniel Bryan.
Even though he had trouble finding a spot on the card during his first few months on the main roster, Almas has reportedly earned the trust of WWE officials.
A backstage source claimed that sometimes Vince will see a certain Superstar and say “I want them up there” without having a plan in place, and other times he will be told a Superstar could be useful if called up, but if Vince isn’t behind them they won’t get very far.
Almas was apparently put in a spot where he wasn’t expected to stand out, but he made an impression on Vince with his work.
Do you think Almas has a bright future on the main roster? Sound off in the comments below.
