They say that anything can happen on Monday Night Raw, and it’s certainly not uncommon for the scrip for the show to be rewritten shortly before Raw goes live on the air.
PWInsider is reporting that several sources claimed that Monday was one of the longest days in a long time for the WWE creative team. It’s being said that Vince McMahon was extremely unhappy with the original plans for the show.
The Chairman of the Board reportedly ripped up the script for Monday Night Raw several times, including original plans for the show and the initial rewrite.
After ripping up the script Vince McMahon requested new ideas, some of which were good, others that were not, and he rejected all of the ideas that were pitched to him before decreeing new plans for the show.
It’s being said that there was no direction for the show until 6 PM. One source noted that Vince McMahon was “the loudest and angriest” he’s ever been on the day of a show.
