Vince McMahon Reportedly Giving Up On Pushing Two WWE Raw Stars

WrestleMania weekend is almost here, and the Road to WrestleMania 37 has been filled with some interesting twists and turns to say the least. Bobby Lashley managed to capture the WWE Championship a few weeks ago, and The Hurt Business also recently fell apart.

It was noted in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the decision to break up The Hurt Business was made by Vince McMahon. Bobby Lashley and others tried to talk Vince out of the idea, but he didn’t budge.

It was also noted that when Vince McMahon gets the idea that he doesn’t want to push certain guys then it’s hard to change his mind, which doesn’t seem to bode well for Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander.

Bobby Lashley is the current WWE Champion, and he’s set to defend the title at WrestleMania this weekend. It seems that Lashley and MVP are in a prominent spot, but there’s no telling what the future holds for Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander.

Benjamin got people talking when he posted the following on Twitter after The Hurt Business was split up:

“The events of this past week have been beyond infuriating frustrating & disappointing but sadly comes as no surprise.”

It was also noted that WWE officials aren’t big on talents publicly complaining about booking.
