Vince McMahon On Which Former WWE Champion Had The Highest Credibility

Over the years many wrestlers have passed through WWE, and it’s safe to say that at one point or another most wrestlers dream of becoming WWE Champion. However, it’s not a goal that everyone can achieve.

In order to become WWE Champion you have to earn Vince McMahon’s approval, which is seemingly easier said than done. One man who has earned a lot of praise from the Chairman of the Board is none other than WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart, and Vince shared his thoughts on Bret’s time as champion during the recent A&E Biography special on The Hitman.

Vince McMahon also gave Bret the ultimate compliment when he said he had the highest “credibility factor” out of all the former champions.

“Although he is very technical, very sound, very believable, Brett was not as big as some of our other performers. But, Bret stayed in there and hung in there, and eventually, everyone recognized his skill and the rest is history,”

“Bret is an unusual cat. Man, that was a real champion. The credibility factor with Bret, I think, will be the highest of anyone we ever had as champion.”
