Every Superstar wants to make it to the top of WWE, but in order to make it to the top you have to impress Vince McMahon.
This week on Monday Night Raw Ricochet challenged Riddick Moss for the WWE 24/7 Championship, and Moss retained the belt when he pinned Ricochet to pick up the win.
The match was seemingly a big step down for Ricochet as he recently challenged Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship at Super ShowDown, even though Ricochet was squashed by Lesnar.
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Ricochet is “done” in regards to getting a push, and the match was meant to be a burial.
It was noted that Vince McMahon gets certain things in his head, like with Cedric Alexander who was supposed to get a push and got buried. Now Ricochet is being buried.
Do you think Ricochet deserves better? Sound off in the comments below.
