Between Raw, SmackDown and NXT WWE is constantly shuffling the deck in regards to who gets TV time, and sometimes talents get lost in the shuffle.
At one point both Aleister Black and Andrade were regulars on WWE programming, but it’s been a while since fans have seen either of them.
During his run as Executive Director of Raw it was reported that Paul Heyman wanted to push Aleister Black, but Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Heyman doesn’t have that kind of power anymore.
It seems unlikely that Aleister Black or Andrade will be getting a push anytime soon, as it’s being reported that Vince McMahon doesn’t see anything in them.
Meltzer also noted that of the people that Paul Heyman wanted to push only Shayna Baszler is in a decent position right now because WWE likes the idea of her teaming with Nia Jax.
Aleister Black has been off TV since October of 2020. There have been rumors of a possible re-debut for Black, but so far nothing has come to fruition. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
