This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw was the first post-draft episode of WWE’s flagship show. Raw featured the big announcement about the Universal Championship and Finn Balor vs. Roman Reigns in a number 1 contender’s match for the main event.
According to ShowBuzzDaily.com, this week’s episode of Raw drew 3.338 million viewers, up from the 3.133 million viewers who tuned into last week’s show.
For this week’s episode the first hour drew 3.412 million viewers, followed by the second hour which drew 3.350 million viewers. The third and final hour drew 3.254 million viewers.
Dean Ambrose retained the WWE Championship Sunday night at Battleground and now the title is exclusive to the blue brand. SmackDown COO announced on Twitter that he and General Manager Daniel Bryan will be naming a new number 1 contender for Dean’s title tonight on SmackDown.
