This week’s Raw was a loaded show as it featured two huge title changes. Rhea Ripley & Iyo Sky defeated Asuka & Kairi Sane to become the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, and Becky Lynch went on to defeat Maxxine Dupri to win the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship.
During the show Stephanie Vaquer made her way to the ring while wearing a walking boot and Corey Graves announced that she suffered an injury while defending her title in the triple threat match against Nikki Bella and Raquel Rodriguez last week on Raw.
Jackie Redmond interviewed Stephanie Vaquer and she said that winning the WWE Women’s World Championship was her biggest accomplishment. Vaquer referenced the walking boot and said that it won’t stop her.
Vaquer’s music hit and she did her pose with the title, but she was attacked from behind by Raquel Rodriguez who attacked her injured ankle. Raquel then picked Vaquer up and hit her with the Tejana Bomb. She grabbed a chair and wrapped it around Stephanie Vaque’s ankle, but Adam Pearce and other WWE officials interfered.
Pearce managed to get the chair and Raquel left the ring while WWE officials checked on Stephanie Vaquer. Shortly after WWE officials were helping Stephanie make her way through the backstage area when Raquel attacked her again. Adam Pearce then responded by kicking Raquel out of the building.
