USA Network Reportedly Disappointed With WWE Due To Recent Releases

WWE releases have been a very hot topic this year as the company has been releasing talents frequently. Last Friday NXT got hit pretty hard when a dozen Superstars were released from their contracts.

Following the releases Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men podcast is reporting that higher ups in USA Network are disappointed regarding the releases. It was recently reported that WWE will be making changes to NXT as the company shifts the focus to younger talents and bigger wrestlers. Zarian is also reporting that the perception among many is that the changes will not be for the better.

“Hearing a lot of chatter from USA Network higher-ranked reps regarding the releases from NXT. “Personally I’m disappointed with how this is going” The perception from many is that these upcoming changes will be negative.

“Perception means everything especially when you are working with partners who are not pro wrestling fans and don’t have deep knowledge of the talent. In reality are the changes coming to NXT a bad thing? Time till tell.”

Stay tuned for updates.
