Here is the most up-to-date card for WWE Fastlane:
Kevin Owens vs. Goldberg (Universal Title Match)
Bayley vs. Charlotte (Raw Women’s Title Match)
Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman
Neville vs. Jack Gallagher (Cruiserweight Tile Match)
The Club vs. Enzo and Big Cass (Raw Tag Team Title Match)
This is obviously a lite card for a pay-per-view. There are other matches expected to be added to the card like Samoa Joe vs. Sami Zayn and possibly Nia Jax vs. Sasha Banks. So, expect a few more matches to come out of the woodwork tonight because the main event Goldberg match won’t be very long (we know this already).
Ric Flair very well might get put in the Women’s Title Match in one way or another since he’s scheduled to be at Raw tonight, but only time will tell how they use him. The Nature Boy could just be used in a one-off angle on Raw, or they could pair him back up with his favorite daughter.
Another match that needs to happen at Fastlane is Rusev vs. anybody. We don’t care who it is against, they just need to book Rusev for Fastlane. Because, Rusev is awesome.
One thing that also needs to happen at Fastlane, of course, is to build toward WrestleMania 33. The Undertaker vs. Roman Reigns is expected for the show of shows, therefore it might be possible for him to get involved in the Roman vs. Braun match and help Strowman get the win. This would make sense on so many levels, as they need to build a story for the Big Evil vs. The Big Dog match, and they also need to make Braun Strowman look strong.
Having Strowman lose clean at this point would not only be a waste of that big moment but it would also be severely detrimental to his career just as the rocket boosters have seemed to kick in for him.
Goldberg might win with the assistance of Chris Jericho to set up the KO/Y2J match in Orlando. A Chris Jericho vs. Kevin Owens match has been expected since they first buddied-up with each other last summer.
Another one to watch closely at Fastlane is the Cruiserweight Title match as it very well could mean the emergence of Austin Aries in that story.
However, WWE might hold off one or more of those things to allow an Undertaker appearance to have more impact (if Taker does anything at all). They can tire a crowd all night with surprises because by the time they get to the final shocking event, people are used to the unexpected at that point.
