The road to WrestleMania continued on Saturday with the Elimination Chamber premium live event and two more title matches were confirmed for WrestleMania 40.
Becky Lynch won the women’s Elimination Chamber match to earn the right to challenge for the WWE Women’s World Championship on the Grandest Stage of Them All. Rhea Ripley went on to retain her WWE Women’s World Championship against Nia Jax in the main event to set up Rhea Ripley vs. Becky Lynch for WrestleMania 40.
Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes appeared on the Grayson Waller Effect and during the appearance Rollins confirmed that he’s days away from being medically cleared. Drew McIntyre later won the men’s Elimination Chamber match and earned the right to challenge Seth Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at the Showcase of the Immortals.
A match between AJ Styles and LA Knight was teased when Styles interfered in the Elimination Chamber match and ended Knight’s chances of winning when he destroyed the Megastar with a steel chair. WWE also seemingly teased Logan Paul vs. Randy Orton after Orton eliminated Paul from the Elimination Chamber then Paul hit Orton with brass knuckles which allowed Drew McIntyre to pick up the win.
WrestleMania 40 will air live from Philadelphia on April 6 and April 7. The current card can be seen below.
