The Impact Wrestling roster is always changing, and the company said goodbye to some of its top stars during the recent TV tapings in Orlando, Florida.
Bobby Lashley, EC3, Chris Adonis and Laurel Van Ness are all done with Impact Wrestling, and now everyone’s wondering what’s next for them.
According to Fightful.com, Bobby Lashley is said to have “his pick of the litter” in regards to where he could work next, but Lashley isn’t interested in working a full time schedule at this point in time. Even though Lashley left WWE on bad terms, it’s been proven in the past that the company will bury the hatchet with former stars if the right opportunity presents itself for both sides to work together.
Bobby Lashley still has name value in the wrestling business, and it’s worth noting that the past few years have shown that WWE doesn’t seem to be as hung up on the idea of wrestlers working full time schedules.
EC3 recently applied to trademark his name, and it’s being reported that even though he asked for his release in November, he left Impact on great terms, and got along well with Don Callis and Scott D’Amore.
It was recently reported that there is interest in EC3 from WWE, and that he has many suitors.
It’s worth noting that he recently pulled out an indie wrestling event which is scheduled to take place on the same day as the Royal Rumble.
WWE is also reportedly interested in Laurel Van Ness with one source claiming they would be surprised if she doesn’t sign with the company at some point this year.
As far as Chris Adonis/Masters goes, it’s being said that a WWE return is not in the cards for him.
