In 2015 WWE revived Tough Enough and when the competition was all said and done there were two winners. Josh Bredl and Sara Lee were awarded WWE contracts, but neither Josh nor Sara have done all that much since the competition ended.
Sara Lee eventually became pregnant with NXT star Wesley Blake’s child, and she was released from her contract. She’s been sitting on the sidelines for a while now taking care of her child, but it was recently reported that she’s been training for an in ring return.
As for Josh Bredl, he adopted the name Bronson Matthews after Tough Enough, and according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter he is still under contract. However, he hasn’t wrestled in 13 months due to concussion related issues.
WWE Hall of Famer Bruno Sammartino was supposed to appear on the 7/31 episode of Monday Night Raw in Pittsburgh, but Sammartino missed the appearance after he had a bad fall and ended up in the emergency room.
Due to the fact that he was unable to make it to the arena, his son Darryl went to Raw and picked up what was said to be a “very nice gift” from Triple H.
