It was reported a few weeks ago that Mickie James is set to return to the WWE main roster. F4Wonline.com is now reporting that Mickie James was in Pittsburgh recently undergoing the required medical tests, and if everything checks out she’s expected to work on SmackDown Live. Mickie James also noted on Twitter yesterday that she was Pittsburgh bound.

WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross is back with his latest blog where he talks about his thoughts on Raw and SmackDown this week and more. You can check out the full entry here along with some highlights below.
WWE’s interest in UFC stars: “How can anyone be shocked that WWE is interested in such UFC stars a Ronda Rousey and Conor McGregor? I’d be more shocked to read that WWE was NOT interested in these two notwithstanding Paige VanZant and Sage Northcutt as well. I can’t see any of them joining the WWE team full time but can easily see some strategically marketed, big event appearances that would include physicality and could be highly successful.”
SmackDown being more entertaining than Raw: “What a difference a hour makes as in SD Live was arguably a more entertaining show this week than was RAW and an argument can be made that the extra hour of RAW facilitated that opinion.”
SmackDown’s reality based promos: “The reality oriented dialog between Miz and Renee Young was a timely departure creatively. Same for Nattie and Nikki that I also found to be good TV. Reality based storylines seem to work best as talent’s don’t have to worry about “acting,” as a rule, and simply focus on being themselves.”
