Update On WWE Trying To Sign Top Free Agent

WWE has been in acquisition mode for months now and it seems that company officials have their eyes on a former NWA Women’s World Champion. Fightful Select is reporting that they’ve been able to confirm that WWE is interested in Kamille. It was noted specifically that over the last few weeks overtures were made to try to bring Kamille into the company.

Kamille was backstage at AEW Dynamite last week for the January 17 tapings and originally she was just there to visit friends. However, it was noted that Kamille did speak with several people of influence while she was at the show.

As of January 19, Kamille had not signed a deal with anyone. The former NWA Women’s World Champion reportedly had a six month option with NWA that would have extended her deal through the first half of the year, but she passed on the option.

Stay tuned for more updates on Kamille’s status as they become available.
