Fans have probably noticed that WWE pay-per-views have been going longer on the WWE Network as late, and that’s not going to change in the near future.
It appears that WWE officials have plans to expand pay-per-view events to four hours with a start time of 7pm and a start time of 6pm for related kickoff shows.
PWInsider is now reporting that WWE has confirmed pay-per-view events will be expanding to four hours starting with Money in the Bank on 6/17.
However, this doesn’t necessarily mean that each event will run for four hours. It’s more likely that events will run between three to three and a half hours, but the change gives WWE the option to be run the shows longer or shorter depending on what’s needed.
Events like WrestleMania and SummerSlam are expected to run even longer than standard pay-per-views. You can check out the current PPV schedule for the remainder of 2018 below.
