AJ Styles is set to defend his WWE Championship against Shinsuke Nakamura at WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans, but there was recently some concern that the match may not happen after it was reported that AJ is dealing with an injury.
The champion assured fans that he will be wrestling at the Show of Shows this year, and he recently returned to in-ring action at a WWE live event.
AJ Styles hasn’t revealed many details in regards to what type of injury he’s been dealing with, but the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that the word going around backstage is that Styles may have suffered a MCL injury.
For the past two weeks fans have seen Brock Lesnar destroy Roman Reigns on Monday Night Raw, and so far it looks like The Beast has the upper hand heading into their Universal Title match at WrestleMania 34.
