Triple H has been mostly working behind the scenes in WWE and NXT over the last few years, but he still laces up the boots and returns to the ring from time to time.
A few months ago DX reunited to face the Brothers of Destruction in the main event of WWE Crown Jewel, and even though DX picked up the win, Triple H injured himself in the process.
The former WWE Champion had to undergo surgery to repair torn pectoral muscle, and he’s been on the road to recovery ever since.
Triple H addressed his injury during the NXT TakeOver conference call on Wednesday, and he noted that he’s started training again, and he’s sore from doing so.

Prior to Triple H’s injury a big match with Batista was being teased, presumably for WrestleMania 35.
At this point it’s not clear if the King of Kings will be competing on the Grandest Stage of Them All this year, but the fact that he’s training once again is certainly good news.
Stay tuned for more updates on Triple H’s status as they become available.
