The last few months have been interesting for the women’s tag team division in WWE as Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles after Liv Morgan was taken out of action due to injury and the belts had to be vacated. Rousey & Baszler then dropped the belts to Raquel Rodriguez & Liv Morgan at Money in the Bank after Baszler turned on Ronda Rousey and attacked her own partner during the match.
It was later reported that Shayna Baszler turned on Ronda Rousey as plans for their feud had to be moved up because Ronda is looking to finish up with WWE and leave the company.
With all this talk of Ronda Rousey leaving WWE people have been wondering what she could do next. UFC fighter Chelsea Chandler got people talking when she told MMA Junkie and other outlets that she’s heard Ronda is returning to Ultimate Fighting Championship.
“I’ve been hearing Ronda is coming back. I’ve heard she’s coming back at 145. You never know. … If I got out there and put on the performance I plan on putting (on), I’ll welcome her to 145. I think it would be a great fight. It has been a long time for her and things change, people get better, and I think people are on to her one-trick-pony armbar. Money talks, and she would bring eyes to the sport again. I feel like her time in WWE is starting to go down, so I’d like to see it.”
However, MMA journalist Ariel Helwani recently took to Twitter to declare that there is no truth to rumors of a UFC return for Ronda Rousey as she’s not considering a comeback. Helwani posted the following:
Ronda Rousey is not considering a UFC comeback, I’m told.
No truth to the rumors started yesterday.

All signs point to Ronda Rousey facing Shayna Baszler at SummerSlam, and it’s rumored that Rousey could be leaving WWE shortly after, but it doesn’t seem that she has any plans to return to MMA at this point in time. Stay tuned for updates.
